Yes. Your plan includes a real Indonesian +62 number, which is what makes Grab, Gojek and QRIS verification codes arrive. Roaming eSIMs cannot do this because they have no Indonesian number.
Can I set it up before I travel?
Yes, and we recommend it. Install over wifi at home. Your 30 days only begin when we activate the line, so buying early costs you nothing.

Why do you need my passport?
Indonesian law requires every mobile number to be registered against a verified identity, and requires foreign phones to be registered before using a local network. Every legitimate local SIM seller in Indonesia asks for this. We complete both steps for you.
Do I keep my home number?
Yes. Your home SIM stays in your phone and WhatsApp keeps working on your usual number. The Telkomsel eSIM simply adds an Indonesian line for data, calls and verification codes.
Can I extend after 30 days?
Tourist eSIMs cannot be extended under Indonesian regulations, but you can buy a new plan any time.
What if something goes wrong?
Message us on WhatsApp and a real person in Bali will fix it, usually within minutes, between 8:00 AM and 2:00 AM Bali time. If we cannot fix it, we replace it or refund it. You can also walk into any of our five stores.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Unactivated eSIMs are fully refundable within 30 days of purchase, including ones you have installed but not switched on. Once activated, the Indonesian number has been issued to you and cannot be reused, so it is non-refundable except for a technical fault we cannot resolve.
